Meet Gina Dickson

The experience as an auditor in public accounting brought about great exposure to multiple types of accounting systems and environments. Gina transitioned away from the public accounting arena by pursuing a role with CORD (Center for Occupational Research and Development). At the time, Mike DeRosa was the Controller, and offered her some flexibility in the workplace while Gina’s children were very young.

This experience provided her first exposure to MAS 90 and Sage products. During the fifteen years with CORD she was promoted to Director of Finance and continued to choose MAS 90 as the solution for accounting needs.

Seeking new challenges, Gina left CORD to become Controller of PRUF Energy Solutions, a start-up LED Lighting manufacturing company. Implementing new accounting systems and procedures were tasks that provided both challenging and rewarding learning experiences. This allowed her to dive deeper into accounting as it relates to manufacturing processes and workflow. She remained in this position for seven years before taking on an adventure in the Franchising industry.

As controller for Restoration 1 Franchise Holding, the fastest growing restoration franchise in the nation, the experience at PRUF Energy Solutions proved to be invaluable in understanding how to implement all new systems and procedures. The years of experience at Restoration 1 provided a greater knowledge and insight as to the changing needs and flexibility required in a fast growth accounting environment.
